If specified in contract, Hill Country Granite will remove existing counters and/or splash.
Sinks, faucets, garbage disposal, soap dispensers, drinking water spigots etc., that penetrate the countertop must be disconnected and pulled prior to start of our work. Purchaser should furnish all new sinks to Hill Country Granite for templating purposes. We will bring sinks to job at time of installation.
New Self-Rimming (drop-in) sinks:
Hill Country Granite will only cut new counters to accept these.
New Undermount Sinks:
Will be set by Hill Country Granite. Faucets should be on site at time of installation so that we can drill as required in the countertops.
Purchaser should contact a qualified plumber or service company to disconnect prior to the countertop work and reconnect afterwards.
Electrical:
Cooktops must be disconnected and removed prior to start of our work; free-standing ranges and refrigerators may be left in place. It is important that cooktops to be installed in new counters be on site prior to start of our work. Hill Country Granite will cut new counters to accept cooktop. We cannot disconnect or reconnect lighting fixtures, intercoms or any other electrical fixtures.
Purchaser should contact a qualified electrician or service company to disconnect prior to the countertop work and reconnect afterwards.
